I know theres a thread about shops but majority of the ones I am interested in is 2-4 hours away. Anyone in the 619 area as in Chula Vista to maybe as far as Escondido have good shops to go? Any help is much appreciated.

Depends what you need done. Check out Beyer Supreme Tires in San Ysidro they always seem to have the lowest prices for installs and sometimes even parts. I have not had any problems when I take my car there other than they always forget to call me when my car is done.
