Z, G and misc. pics SOW 8/28
When I wasn't driving or talking, took some pics at last Sunday's Extremespeed Track event. If you haven't run with Extremespeed and you are looking for a great track group to run with, give them a try. Now on to a video and pics -

Not my best day time wise but had a fun time. First session, kind of feeling out the track (CCW) and I ran a 1:28:9xx. Second session, too much traffic to get a clean lap. Third session and outside temperature is about 105 and I don't go any faster. Fourth session and outside temp is now about 107 and I run a 1:28:8xx.
So fastest time was the 1:28:8xx when it was hottest outside. I had run a 1:28:1xx going CCW earlier in the year (when it was about 40 degrees cooler).

still not bad, few weeks ago when I went it was around 102-4 and I ran a 1:29. We were running CCW as well. Given my tires/pads are daily driven, I was hoping for a 1:28 at least. But all good I had fun with a turbo and R8 lol. Its funny how they can pull so hard on the straights but have to break on turn 1 while Im WOT in 4th haha. But you did very well Jason, goodjob!

There were 4 Z's and 1 G at the event (not including the 2 extremespeed staff...a 350z and 370z) and I believe I had the fastest time.

Using a Canon T2i with a cheapish Tamron 18-200 f/3.5-6.3 Macro lens. Also had a polarizer filter on the lens. I got the camera about 6 months back and have just slowly been learning.

Streets of Willow (running CCW)
Love the camera just need to get a better lens at some point. At the very early learning stages...my wife and I travel and figured it would be a good hobby to combine with the travelling and the car thing.

Hey Jason thanks for the photo (1st one) and thanks for giving me advice on tires and brake pads. I'm going to hold off on Track days until it cools down again and I can upgrade my tires and pads. By chance did you get any pics of my friends cars that were there, Miata, Integra and EvoX?
