I just bought a used 2004 350Z. No problems yet, but I would like to find a good mechanic now who is honest and not too expensive. I live in West LA. Any recommendations?

If you want to come down to Orange County - try JER Development in Westminster. Lin is the owner/operator and does good work and is his pricing is reasonable. Here is his link:

Thinking i might be hitting up Autotech sometime next week. Im having that infamous clutch sticking issue, Glendale nissan says its either the clutch or bearing(?) but im not sure i trust them as most ppl here say its a slave/master cylinder issue so i want a second opinion. Has anyone been to Autotech recently? Ive heard alot of good things about Beck but havent heard much about his nephew.

thnx. i was debating between Precision Z and Autothech, they both seem to have good reviews here. Im going with Autotech because its closer to my stomping grounds but Precision Z is definitely plan b if it turns out Autotech isnt as good as it used to be..

Its pretty lame to pay for an inspection when are they are doing is test driving it and looking for any odd sounds and leaks. I can take care of installing and bleeding out a new slave for prob less than what you paid for an inspection.

No, its a grey one...
I went to autotech today and the guy i spoke with, Wasu, wasnt familiar with the clutch issue at all. The dealer has also claimed they have never heard of the issue. The issues seems fairly common in this forum but im surprised that neither of the mechanics ive spoken have ran into it.
