Hi, guys I know this is over an done with but next time I'd suggest you guys stay on your side of the road and not cross the double yellows, they are there for a reason.

very stupid for the few that were crossing yellows, btw the site should address the liability aspect point of organizing a run, essentially it falls on the liability of the organizer who puts it together is the one responsible should something go wrong.

should you see a cyclist on the road and especially on a narrow section where you do not have line of sight to pass - do not ** pass, this isn't a race its a gathering to drive with others but some don't understand this.

frankly one of you nearly had a head on collision with me while I was going in the opposite direction when you decided to pass over the yellow just before a blind curve.

****you.

Ah so it was you. Well, did you see the pack of cyclists in front of me? About 6 in that group, one of them was nearly in the middle of the road, I slowed down to about 10mph and waited for him to merge back into his fellow cyclists, but he never did. With the road straight for another say about 75 feet and clear of no incoming cars, I crossed into the double yellow slightly passing him, now going 5mph. Now here you come while I am doing this and you decide not to slow down or see the cyclist not letting me past. For 50 feet all you did was flash your high beams and honk repeatedly, I wasn't in your lane by much. Yes, I know it was my fault crossing into double yellow, but dude wasn't budging and the road was clear of oncoming traffic, well until you came along speeding towards me.

I apologize and take fault, but come on, you're over exaggerating about a possible head on collision, was hardly in your lane, I wasn't speeding like you said, and there was a good 75-100 feet where you turned from to where I was.

makes sense not to pass and sit behid the cyclist untill they move over as 22101VC states in the california VC book. cyciclst need to ride to as far as to the right as safely and possible.

I know it was my fault crossing into double yellow and passing on the wrong side of the road.

leave it as a learning experience.

To put it simple, loads of people doing **** like this.

As per the person I was spitting fire at for his cross line adventure was flat blind corner and was more then 50% over the line.

If you can not ****ing drive don't go to the canyons.

Crossing the line says a lot of a drivers lack of any precision drivers skills, ok so there is a bike on the side, point is you drive really slow behind them untill they stop and give you the right of way, till then you do not ****ing pass.

*UCK ********** all.
