Hey guys, I got my rims stolen during the middle of the night at my apartment complex I live at. Anyway I HAD Volk GT-M's in gloss black 9.5 front +23, and 10.5 rear +21 they are 19's. If you guys could keep an eye out for them while out and about or on craigslist, Ebay, etc that would be greatly appreciated. They have GT-2 center caps on them. Here are some pics. If you guys hear anything please let me know ASAP!

pics of car when you discovered it? was it on bricks or pallets? did you have locking lugs? any damage to the body? I remembered back in the day, a friend of friend "pretend" his rims was stolen for insurance purposes.. not that im accusing you or anything..

Are you planning on claiming insurance? That's an expensive pair of shoes you got there.

 

I already filed a police report. I already notified my insurance. I have full coverage.My car is on bricks. The side skirts are chipped, dented in, etc.
The kind of crappy thing is Rays doesn't make the GT-M no more. I just had Muteki super tuner lug nuts on. I'm thinking about getting some TE-37's. I have pics on my phone of the car still sitting on blocks. This fuken blows!!

Sorry to hear about the rims OP. Did u purchase extra insurance coverage for the rims? If not, sometimes insurance company don't cover after market stuff unless u purchase extra insurance. Hopefully your insurance take good care of u! Good luck!

 

Rickdogg has some beautiful mint TE'S in matte black +12, ive been there man i had a set stolen. makes you want to shoot somone. multiple wheel locks isnt very pretty but its a start

Yeah bro. My apartment complex is about a block away from Cal State Fullerton. If any of you guys are planning to move to this area don't! It's very transient because of Cal State Fullerton and Fullerton junior college. Just a bunch of college kids. Plus parking sucks. I have to either park on the street or in the back lot.

 

Update

Well my car is now at my friends body shop ready and waiting to be inspected by the estimator on Tuesday. I'am going to go over my car with a fine tooth comb with him. I should have my car back in two weeks tops.

On a side note, has anybody seen anything on graigslist or Ebay? I finally got around to do some searching today but I haven't seen nothing yet. I imagine the guy who did this wouldn't post up my rims for sale too quickly either.

 

sometimes I wish my rims would get stolen so i can claim it on my insurance.. the stock Rays 19" that come with the Grand Touring trim is almost $2k/each!!!

 

More than likely your wheels will never show due to their rarity. Chances are that they are already on their way to another country.
