For about a week and a half or so ive suddenly become a victim of getting zapped by my car when i get out of the car. I looked on the G forums and they have suddenly experienced the same issue. anybody else in socal having the same problem?
I used to experience the same thing and did this to fix it:
Before you rotate out of your seat (the motion that causes the static) put your hand on the door jam or any other metel part.
Problem solved.

It'll work.
When you get out normally the charge builds and then releases when you make contact with metal. By keeping in contact with a petal piece the charge flows through you and isn't allowed to build.
Or you can get leather seats.
