Angry Attempted break in..... Whats this part called?

Im thinking i may sell the car. Since i have moved in december i got hit from behind while it was parked and someone was trynig to parrallel park it looks like. Hit and runned while it was parked by a drunk who took off my side view mirror and dented the door. And now some idiot tried to break in and dented my front fender for no reason, probably mad he couldnt get in. Sick of paying for repairs, lots of other Z's on the street way nicer then mine but i keep getting dumped on.........

Anyways, whats this part called? I have called to try and get a used on but no one knows what im talking about.

Thanks in advance. and if anyone has one for sale. Im buying it asap.

Sorry to hear about your Z man! I think that is called a Finisher front pillar assembly PN 72813M. Those things are not cheap and you might have to get the rubber molding behind the panel too.

Edit: I know this because a mobile windshield company fawked up both my panels, and associated rubber molding. I have the thread somewhere in my350z.

Its the area, i live near the beach where there are lots of drunk people every night at the many bars and clubs. I park my motorcycle in a garage instead of my car because i see a tipped over bike almost daily....... Ridiculous lol. I love being on the beach and seeing hot women every single day but i guess you have to pay to play.

So if i bought one off ebay i still might need the rubber molding??

In your opinion my deductible is $500 bucks, and they dented my front fender too. You think i should just file a claim? I got lucky last time and found some side view mirrors on craigslist the last time this happened for dirt cheap.

You might just want to get an estimate for the damage and see if it's something you can do yourself.

You will definitely need the finisher, here is the diagram that shows all of the parts of that section:

god damn man you have the worst of luck. I hope that type of ******** never happens to me but I can only hope. Should get a car cover, I know its just a car cover but at least it conceals the car, making you have better chances of *******s not trying to steal your **** or **** it up because there jealous/drunk. (since they have to go through the trouble of taking the car off to know whats under as opposed to spotting the car and running up to it and you know the rest from there lol).

Want to talk about bad luck. A week after this I went out to my car to see my front bumper smashed in. Looks like someone with a tow hitch was trying to parallel park and ran right into me........ 75 bucks to pop the dent out but te paint is cracked now.

I'm parting the car out or selling it as a whole dirt cheap very soon. Its cursed for me........
