AutoClub Track Day May 5th (day before Fontana Nissan meet)
As discussed in the Fontana Nissan meet thread, there is a Speedventures track day going on at AutoClub Speedway on the day before the Fontana Nissan meet. If a few Z folks are going, my plan was to drive up from SD on Saturday morning, track for the day, stay in the area that night and Fontana Nissan meet the next day.
Looking to see if anyone is actually signed up/signing up for the Speedventures track day. The track day would cost approximately $220 (gate fee, track fee and timer) if you have some track experience and a bit less for beginners (not sure the exact price, need to contact Speedventures).
Post up in this thread if you are planning on doing the track day...
As of now, i will be there. Will mention for the budget guys, the timing is $30 and not required. Will sign up on monday, my schedule should be firm by then.

Checked pricing and for people who have tracked before, looks like it is $190 for the track day, $20 for timing (not required) and $10 AutoClub gate fee (whether you are driving or watching).
Let me know when you register and we will see how many others sign up.
Spoke to Aaron about this. We can offer that event for $170 for Saturday. Have people put "350z discount" in the comments field and I'll adjust the price before they're charged. This deal does not apply to drivers in the White (beginners) Group since they're already getting a discounted price. We could do a deeper discount on Sunday because there's still tons of room that day but of course, that's the day of the meet.

Both are great events, but you will learn more at Autoclub. Big Willow is fun but.......there are some really high speed sections that are easy to lose control of your car.
Also, if you come out to SpeedVentures i will gladly volunteer a session of my time to help you out.

As mentioned, beginners at AutoClub pay a bit less and it is less of a drive for us people from SD.

Awesome. Thanks Len for taking the time to set this up!
Are any of you guys willing to take a passenger for a session or two? I want to try Fontana in the future so this might be a good chance for me to check it out and meet some Z's too

I am willing to take passengers and will be bringing my extra helmet.
Just note that AutoClub will charge you a $10 gate fee to get into the track. They charge it to drivers and spectators.
