No the 18th at buttonwillow allows beginners, the spring mountain event does not.

 

Oh ok lol, just making sure, but yeah just planning on spectating at spring valley. Speaking of which, just spoke to a guy in a GT-R who went there then to SEMA and driving home to LA. Matte black vinyl wrap, AMS exhaust and tune, thing was beautiful.

I could only manage one day off during the week, was either SEMA or GTR track day at SMMR, out of 20 GTR's only one was faster than my friend in his S2K. 24 cars total, no run groups.

Next year I'll plan ahead a little better.

Ran CW on Sunday with the added speedventures hay bail at the end of the back straight making use really hit the chicane. Once I figure out how to load the vids from Harry's lap timer to YouTube I will post some vids

Nice video. I added speed district 12/01/2012 buttonwillow to the list. Great guys, less then 50 cars too, lot of track time.

 

Wow 1:25, that is moving at SoW CW. Anyone thinking of Buttonwillow in Dec 22 or 23 with Speedventures? I might make it out to that one.

 

That is with a bobble too. Once the front aero is finished , add a hair of camber , and slight damper adjustments , I want a 1;24 dammit.

I also need to tweak the ECU map a bit for the header install. My wideband is going on this week, just a street tune is being done on this motor.

 

I had a great time at SOW this past weekend I also set my personal best at the track (which wasn't hard since I've never ran this config) with a 1:28.984 I was hoping for low 1:29 to high 1:28 which I was able to do even with the Hay Bale chicane which slows you down about 1 sec according to a friend that runs the track quite often.
