I tried getting smogged this past weekend and failed due to NO CARB sticker for my Injen cold air intake. I emailed Injen with the necessary info to get a CARB sticker for the intake. Hopefully i will get it before March.

 

Did you watch them do it? Whats the steps?

 

Put the stock airbox back for the test?

 

Did you really fail bcz of that? Bcz i had a guy that just didn't want to smog it bcz I didn't have the sticker on My CAI but he never charged me or started the process. Then i went to another smog guy and he didnt even say anything about the intake and just smogged it and passed. This was about 4 years ago when i had my cats.

 

Yes i failed the visual part of the test. I think it depends on the tester if he chooses to look the other way.

 

Yes i could put the stock intake back on but the requires removing the front bumper to remove the injen intake.

 

I mailed Injen for a CARB EO on Saturday and got it today!!! Three days is a very quick response in my book, then again they are located in SO CA.
