Smile Got my headlights redone!

I had my headlights restored the other day, because they were beginning to look cloudy and hazy. I came across Innovative Detailing, and their headlight lens restoral service. I usually don't do this, but I had to post on here about the results. David did an amazing job, I definitely did not expect this kind of result from my headlights. They look like they did when the car was showroom new. David removed the old OEM coating off of the headlights, and then applied a proprietary UV coating to ensure that my headlights would stay looking great for a long time. Take it from someone who's always believed in restoring their own headlights, David takes it to the next level. The amount of clarity and brilliance is astonishing. Whenever I did my own headlights, they always turned out good, but this didn't turn out "good", this turned out incredible. Anyways, thanks again, Innovative Detailing, for making my car look great . I would highly recommend them for HLR. I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Man they look really nice. Crazy how nice clean and clear headlights make the car look better.

Though, I don't know about the $100 per lens. With the 3M kit and some time could have the same results. I've done my headlights before the 3M clearbra and you'd think they were brand new.

It is on the pricier side of the spectrum, however, you get what you pay for. If you wanna use the 3m kit, more power to you. Been down that road and back several times. You can't really compare this type of job to your run of the mill 3m kit, the coating is what makes or breaks headlight jobs. If you don't apply the coating correctly, or don't apply one at all, your headlights will look like doo doo within no time. And yes, headlights are a giant pet peeve of mine, I feel like the car looks considerably newer now!

A lot of detailers offer this service just call them up. I usually charge $50-$100 depending on the condition. But different markets have different pricing levels so I can't really speak for anyone else.

Word to the wise: try to get them to warranty it for you. Most UV coatings only last 2 years or so. If you can get them warranty it for 2 years at that price it might be worth it. Especially if the car is out in the sun all the time.
