Default Looking for a mechanic for a month long event in Orange County this fall

I'm looking for three positions to be filled for a PR event for a major automotive manufacturer (Hint: They make the 350Z). I need 2 general mechanics, and 1 tire person. Here's the info:

Mechanics needed for a month long event (August 14th to September 17th) in the Irvine area. Possible start day could be almost 2 weeks earlier.

Experience required:
· Familiarity working with and around vehicles
· Capable of routine maintenance (e.g. brake pads, rotors, fluids, small mechanical issues)
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to track and make changes to a vehicle fleet
· Familiarity with Japanese automobiles is a plus

Duties will include:
· General oversight and maintenance of a fleet of over 100 vehicles
· Identify and fix minor vehicle issues (including test driving and performance checks)
· Perform light maintenance including but not limited to fluids, brakes, tires, wheels, cosmetic issues (interior and exterior)
· Support our onsite Tire Technician as needed

Big plus if you have your own tools.

Tire technician needed for a month long event (August 14th to September 17th) in the Irvine area.

Experience required:
· Familiarity working with and around vehicles
· Understanding of differences in tire wear from different drive trains or driving styles
· Excellent organizational skills

Duties will include:
· Changing, mounting and balancing tires for a fleet of over 100 vehicles
· Manage and understand tire inventory, selection and wear rates
· Assist mechanics as needed

This is a paying gig. The shifts will be in 3 or 4 day intervals (ie, work for 3 or 4 days, maybe off for a day). Sometimes you will have to be there on weekends.
