Can anyone from the South Bay area recommend a reputable stereo shop or share your installation experiences?

I will HIGHLY recommed Magic's in Signal Hill. They've done tint on my car and my g/f's car, and I'm about the get them started in the next few weeks on phase I of my system build up.

They don't have a huge product offering although they are a dealer for some pretty good top end brands, ie MBQ, Alpine, PPI, etc. Their labor rates are awesome and every job I've seen them do is high quality for a great price. I can't remember off the top of my head the name of the guy that works the sales floor, it might be Eddie but don't call me on that.

Anyways, check out yellowpages.com and look up magic car audio in signal hill, you'll find them. They're right on Cherry Ave too so its ez to get to from the 405. Also, just fyi I used to manage a car audio shop up in northern cali, so I know what I'm looking at and when I'm talking to people I can tell if they're BS'ing or not. These guys are legit and very friendly.

 

I haven't had any personal experience with shops in the South Bay, although I know there are some good ones. However, Automotive Entertainment in Santa Monica has done several systems for me over the years, including the one in the LA Auto Show Z Roadster and Mazda6. Mikel Zimmerman has been my main contact there for years, but most of the guys there can help you.

 

The most reputable place i seen was Haas Entertainment, i think it was culver city.

I seen them doing one of speilbergs cars so i don't think they are cheap.

I would drive a little further, and go to Creative Car Audio in Santa Fe Springs. Creative has done alot of high end company Vehicles and show cars.

Creative has done work for me and my friend Elitlemotion. Creative is the best around, and they are very reasonable compared to other shops.

Talk to Ryan the owner hes super nice. He is really good at what he does. He can do simple installs to complex molded enclosures. He has 16 years experience and is a master at his art.

Dont let his work intimate you hes really resonable. He also does perfomance work and owns the most impressive Supras that Ive ever seen.

Depends on what you are looking for - Perfection Audio in Gardena has a pretty good selection, he's been in business since I was in High School ('87), and he's a pretty honest guy with great prices. Located on the North side of Artesia between Western and Van Ness.
