Default Engine rebuild

Who's does good work on repair and rebuilding engines in San Diego? I've been searching for a while. Anybody have someone they recommend? If not where or who can I take my car to get my engine sent to IPP in Texas?

Take a 2 hour drive to Long Beach and drop it off at Technosquare.

5523 Motorsports in Escondido. Jim Wolf recommends them.

Don't go to JER, a good friend of mine took his SC400 to get a 1jz-GTE vvti swap there. The shop provided the engine and a week after the swap was done, he got some internal engine noise. No warranties and no standing behind his work, after continuously receiving money from my buddy. Two thumbs down. Plus, they don't even rebuild engines themselves, they outsource to a random machine shop.

I've gone there at least 5 times. zero issues. I double checked their work for loose bolts and stuff and non to be found.

I don't think this is a reason not to go. Of course they aren't going to warranty a USED engine they don't know the condition and history of unless they tear it down. Also, pretty much every shop send engines out to an independent machine shop for machine work.
