Is there an official SAN DIEGO meet up..? I know there's the Cerritos meet up but thats 2 hours away and I want to find something like what the Evo or Impreza groups have. Their open to anyone that have any level or trim of the car and they all just help each-other out from local sales of parts to inside tips on shops that cut killer deals.

So....... if you guys know or are in a group thats within San Diego from North County to SDSU areas, please let me know or lets just start one!

I usually kill time in class and work here on the forum and on craigslist looking up parts and discounts. Most of the stuff I don't need but maybe you do or u have a buddy that does. Also Ive been through a lot with my Z mechanically (thought it was a lost cause) but kept it and probably can help contribute ideas and experiences to issues that u or a buddy might be having.

You'd think there'd be a local chapter wouldn't you? SD's pretty damn big.

 

There doesn't seem to be much in SD. It seems like every thing happens in the LA area.

 

Me and a couple friends have g35s and we roll with the San Diego z scene. Yesterday we had a little get togeher at balboa park. There was only like 5 of us but it was cool to ******** with like minded car enthusiasts...

 

Lol, I'm not going to LA. Maybe if it's a HUGE meet, but it'd have to be pretty special.

When I lived in Colorado I had a 3000GT VR4. Great community and a large local chapter. I would just assume a newer car and a much bigger city would have something similar.
If not we should start one...

 

There's the Carlsbad coffee meet, i havent been but there's always a bunch of exotic cars that i see in the pictures, plus it's early enough on a saturday morning you dont' really have to worry about every honda speeding through parking lots and attempting to "drift" every corner. i've been to a few of the ZBrothers meets, while they were fun it's not worth the 2 hour drive up and back down

I know a while back they used to have some in Temecula, few Z and G guys, but that was a long time ago.

Just got it last night! Been living it so far! It was a childhood dream if mine to drive a convertible on the California coast. Mission accomplished!

I think maybe the cars are old enough now that people aren't too excited about them anymore?

At any rate, I'm still damn excited about it and can't wait to get back into some SCCA events and do a bit of tuning.

I try to be a Chargers fan,but trust me the car show will probably be way more fun than watching the Chargers game...Im sure it will be ugly.

So anyones that just looks at this or people that have contributed to this thread, I say we should have a meet and greet Saturday the 23rd in the Mira Mesa In-N-Out parking lot (its right off the exit). I know this is probably not going to be as spectacular as the AF show or anything but it would be nice to meet other Z owners

 

I'm so down. Be good to meet some other Z peeps. Even if it's a small meet. Let's make it happen!
