Pull the good olde fashion the cop was hitting on me, the poking you in the forehead with his flashlight while he was standing there. Breathing heavy staring at you, talking bout how he just got some ecstasy of some kids, offering to let you play with his gun. Inviting you to his white power BBQ.The usual get out of ticket things.

Tell you what... just blame the exhaust manufacturer. They made it too loud, how's that your fault? Not at all!
And that DMV... its their fault for making it so hard with those long lines and fees for getting your license renewed.
Don't get me started on that tint... who can figure out that whole 35% thing anyway??!!

Yeah, its every one else who's wrong here.
Its not the Op's fault, he's busy at school... you wouldn't understand. You're too busy working a 60 hr a week job, worrying about putting an 18 year old through college!

Listen, sell the damn car. Buy a bicycle.
You don't need an exhaust on it, a license to ride it and those tinted sunglasses will look great with that USC cap you're wearing back to front!!!

It pisses me off when people want to blame cops for doing their jobs.

It's people like the OP was why I got rid of the Z. I still hang out with the OG guys but let's be honest, with the price that you can buy a used Z at now, this is the type of crowd it's turning into sadly.

Again, I still hang around these forums for the lulz and the cool OG Z crowd.

Not once did I say it was unfair or I wasn't at fault. All I said was he was being a dick for writing up the exhaust and windows on top of the main citations at hand.

My main point in making the thread was to see what the odds of getting the minor citations off for the exhaust and tinted windows were since there was already alot of main stuff I got cited for. Two people gave me similar answers so thats what I needed to hear that yes most likely I could get the exhaust and windows knocked down.

When did I say I got "picked on" or "its not fair". I didn't list any reasons I got picked on or even say I was getting picked on. I never whined and said it was not fair. Now your just putting words in my mouth because you probably have nothing better to do when you get home. I am lazy right? Lmao I'm a full time student at USC. Where did you get an education? Do you have a job?
You cried the entire post.

The bolded section says it all. You're cocky.

You got loud, cop had to check you.

I'm not mad, just frustrated with what I am noticing is the new norm of owners of our car.

I worked all through school and took care of my business like an adult and didn't cry about it. OP should not be driving at all if he can't afford to do so, that's just the truth

It's everywhere. I was talking to my uncle (late-50's) and he was b*tching how photo radar is a "cheap, dirty trick" and "it's low, police should be ashamed."

I was like "dafuq?! you knowingly break the law, then b*tch about getting caught?"

Zero accountability

OP: Fix what you can, then go to court. They might reduce or remove something.

I lost my drivers license when I was 18. Too many points. I'd like to believe that I learned my lesson (the hard way).

Good luck with school, don't let this mess up your life.

To the OP complete a trial by declaration and give the judge a really great reason for your illegal u-turn. Some of the other items are correctable violations.

Good luck.

Wow that cop must have been bored and had to make his quota so he didn't get fired. Whats new now days. But yeah man the expired things probably made him want to look more. You should have had those done, but the exhaust you can actually have it dB tested becuase there is a "part a" and a "part b", police just don't like to tell you about part be how it has to be under a certain db level. Windows though good luck, the law is no more than factory tint.
What you could do, like I did is look up the cop who wrote you up and you would be surprised what you find. When I got my last ticket in Irvine I looked the guy up only to find out that he was in second place for most tickets given that month. Sad part is I waited too long to schedule the date and ended up having to just pay it. (was originally going to schedule court the day his wife's baby was do, yeah I went there)

That may work for speeding, not for fix-it tickets or no registration or expired license

Cop was just doing his job, OP is lucky he didnt get his car impounded
