So i just wanted to see who else has done this to their car. i recently picked up an OEM GTR exhaust for $20 off craigslist. I then took it to my local muffler shop Cannons Muffler in La Habra. It took quite a bit of adjustment and ended up getting cut and re-welded a few times. But omg it sounds amazing. It has a small resonator welded into the midpipe and then its just the mufflers. The tips are huge and look great, i only had 2 tips kept on to retain a slightly stock look. I assure you it sounds way better than stock. Other than this Y-pipe back GTR exhaust the rest of it is stock.
So i guess id like to here from anyone who has this exhaust, or to see how many people do if any. thnx for reading

I saw a youtube video online and it sounds just like the GTR. Very nice but its a tad bit loud.

By the way, how much did they charge you at that muffler shop to fab and reweld everything?

 

That's a great deal, I saw one a few days ago for $600.

 

Ive only heard one GTR exhaust on a 350 and I actually thought it was a little raspy.
Maybe your resonator fixed that?
