Helmet approved Snell 2005 or newer, M or SA is the rating. any motor cycle shop will have one. Cheapest ive seen is 100.00 but then again this thing is saving your life in case of a emergency so spend a little more.

I would suggest closed face instead of open face helmet. spinning out in dirt with a open face helmet is a good way to get a mouth full of dirt

SA2010 helmets are on sale, SA 2015 will be out at the end of Oct

And everywhere else. It will last you 5 years, if you get an SA2015 it will last you 10 years.

My current helmet is 8 years old, I take really good care of it, but they get nasty with use. I'm buying a new SA2015 this year and will probably replace it every 5 from now on.
