Hey everyone,

Since I have a lot of time on my hands waiting for school to start, I started a vlog based around the experiences I have with my 350z. Those experiences include canyon drives, track days, installs, and meets.

If you like/didn't like what you see, let me know! I'm new to this, so all criticism is welcome!

I'm sorry you feel that way. I've had one other person mention his name along with Casey Neistat. He compared my video to both of theirs because of the music. Is that what you think I'm copying?

I mentioned to him, that if you search youtube for "royalty free music," that is the type of music that comes up as being most popular.

If so, that is not pure coincidence. Googling other automotive vloggers, I notice his is the most efficient. If you've ever used the YouTube editor, you would have noticed that there is a suggestion template for the last 20 seconds of a video where you can have two videos side by side. Since the other templates only suggest one other video, this template is the most efficient at guiding viewers to other videos.

 

It's just too late. You make these because of videos you have seen. There are so many people on YouTube now it's impossible to seem like your not just on somebody else jock you know

I play on YouTube a lot and honestly closed your video with in the first 30 seconds cause it was straight TJ or speed717


I'm nit sure anybody can make a vlog in current day and seem unique

 

Hmmm... I feel you. A lot of the automotive vloggers inspired me to give it a shot. Not to discredit you, but that worried me so I asked around to see if it really seemed as if I was "jocking" others. The responses just emphasized that "all vlogs have that same format" and to not worry. So, that aligns with what you are saying. All I can do is continue making videos until some unique aspect of myself transfers over to the vlog.

In any case, thank you for your input. I really appreciate it!

Noted. I'll be working on that. As for audio, are you talking about lowering the background music more?

 

It could be the new MacBook Pro having shitty speakers -- but it sounded like the voices were a bit muffled.

 

It's cause he is using a iPhone

 

It's not on your end. I'm using an iPhone to record. So audio pick-up will be subpar.
