Can someone recommend a good shop to get my windows tinted? I was gonna go to Tint Devil on Miramar Rd. but they quoted me 270 for all 5 windows..... That's kinda extreme if you ask me....

 

diamond auto sound on miramar. around 240 for all 5 windows. my friend had his '04 bmw 530 done there and it looks clean. i should have gotten my g35 done there.

 

where did you get yours done?

 

I got mine done at Diamond as well. Great turnaround time and top notch quality.

i got mine done at sound check. i really can't recommend them. i've had my tint redone so many times ugh. i got it done there because i had them install my remote start at the same time. the tint looks great, but is super thin (non-metallic). 25% true grey solargard. the installer just can't get all the damn bubbles out. maybe he's better at installing the metallic tint. *shrug*

diamond auto sound only has luma star tint at 50%, 35%, 15%, and 5% i think. too light and too dark for my tastes. but my friends bimmer turned out classy at 35%.

 

umm i got my truck done at this place down on mission gorge road right next to iowa meat and auto port. it was 160 I believe for all 5 windows, they have lifetime warranty, and they had great service. Should check them out. I forget the name though...if you need it I'd get it for you.

 

The guys at Tint Devil tried to charge me 460 bucks to get my windows tinted?!?!? Stating that it's a Z so it's a little tougher to do?!? Then he "discounted" me down to about 270??

I went to a place in LA, called California Tint while I was up there and got my windows done in Quantum for 130 bucks. Recommended by alot of people.

It seems as if theres not enough competition down here so they'll gouge your eyes out!

Make sure the place insures your tint for life. I hope you have more luck than I did because I couldn't really find a decent place down here that was reputable and reasonable.
