I guess I didn't think the day would finally come, after 6 months of researching this forum and drooling at fellow/felle (lol!) members rides , am off to get a deal,
rather am off to get a Z this Saturday... performance nissan is my first stop, then maybe a couple other dealerships depending on the deal-o-meter. guess i'll have to get a new sign-in-name... lol... wish me luck everyone, and thanks to all those who have directly & indirectly helped me make up my mind w.r.t color/trim level/mods/etcetc .

question: did anyone here get KBB pricing from a dealer for their trade-in (or better)? referring to a super-clean excellent condition trade-in..

If you go to Performance Nissan See Jeff first. in the parts debt. Once the regular saleman gets his hooks into you. there's nothing that can be done. We there an hour ago 1 bk enth, 2 DB touring 2 ppw and a Silver base. Good lucky do'nt wait long the'll go fast.

Yeah, a DB Z is hard to find on the lot. That's why I ordered mine. Don't be discouraged though, keep looking. If you can't find the model/options you want, then think about ordering one. Good Luck!

 

I ordered my Black Base I takes 4 months the longest 120 days you'll ever wait. And I already have a full modded Z.

 

When you talk to Jeff be sure and mention that you're from the board. And welcome to the "addiction" LOL

 

the thought of waiting is a killer
but the thought of not getting a DB is unacceptable
I guess ordering is the way to go, as a plus side, I can get the wheels/tires i want in advance so that I can easily sell off the stock wheels w/tires brand new and maybe get some $$.
i am so dying to get this car its not even funnee... and now that I have the approved loan and have everything worked out, there's gonna be a wait ... sob.. .... u know the funny part ... i haven't even driven the car yet !!!

 

You guys quickly forget that those of us that pre-ordered had to wait, on average, eight (8) months for ours.

That wait takes forever and a day. But, I agree, 120 is a long time to be patient. Just thought you should keep that in mind, that many of us still here from the pre-order days had an insane amount of wait time, with no information at all on what was happening...

That said, enjoy the wait! It's a good time to save up extra cash for the down, or for negotiating position at the dealer. Welcome to the Z family!

haha i can imagine... i am obsessed abt my current car , my 2002 altima , everytime i come back from a store i do a walk-around to check for dings etc... can't imagine how i'd be with my Z

dunno if u were replying to my post tom, but i already bought my car, and, just to let ppl know, the internet sales guy rick wilson, was not just rude to me, he snapped at me twice when I was there, then came back and apologized, and snapped at me again !!!!! both me and my gf just left after that ...
