Those of us hanging out at the Forbidden City club meeting decided that a poker night should be planned.

I'll open up my small apartment as a place to host this event... I have brand new poker chips (11.5 gram Vegas style)... however, I'm in Costa Mesa and it may be a bit far for some of you. Also, my place (and the table) can squeeze about 7 players or so TIGHTLY... If we have more people interested, we'll have to look for a new place to play. It'll be a friendly $40 buy in, $1 for small blind and $2 for big blind... with $3/$6 betting maximums.

I'm thinking either this weekend (March 5-7) or next weekend (March 12-14). Please write down your name in the following order with your preferred date.

1. BullishZ - Any day except Saturday 3/6.

Hehe. I won $350 playing pool last night and about $50 playing poker Saturday. I need to keep up the streek. This weekend is good for me.

I'm definitely interested, but obviously this weekend is pretty much over, and next weekend, I'm going to big bear, so I couldn't come next weekend either, but the weekend after would be perfect.

Are you available this Friday? Dan, how about you? I'm thinking... we'll meet around my place, then drive over to that Magnaflow meet... then get back and play some poker.

If that doesn't work, we'll push it back a bit further.

 

Well, I think I will be in the OC this Saturday to pick up some parts and have somethings installed. Friday night would be cool if I could crash at your place so that I don't have to drive back and fourth the next day. Why don't you try the private email to see if the rest of the crew are up for this?

 

Well, I don't have access to my yahoo email at work...

You can crash at my place of course... but I only got a couch with blankets available... and street parking. But if that's cool with you, and the poker thing is on... then be my guest!

 

All I need is a floor. Couch and blankets sounds great. Lets round up more people, this could be a nice little party.

Turns out my springs/pulley job will be done in Baldwin Park so coordinating the game tonight has become irrelevant. You got my number if you need to call.
