Z needed for rollcage fabrication
Autopower Industries.

They will sell the cage to that person for 1/2 the price once they are done. But, they need a car for approx a week to make the template.

I would be willing to give up my car for the time needed to prototype a rollcage, but I would be asking for a full sponsorship rather than a partial. Contact me via email for more details as to what I offer in return if your interested.

Thanks Mike. I also posted this under:
AUTOPOWER needs you...Come on, help us out!!!
I'm sure they work something out for the right person. They just "typically" give half-off whatever they prototype. I have spoken to them too. But, I am not in San Diego. They want to make two or three patterns...from a four-point bolt-in to a full cage weld-in.
It's a good deal for soemone who can let them have their car for a few days. Plus, it will help everyone else out that wants to buy a pre-fab design. Otherwise, we all have to wait some more...
Thanks again.

I'm interested, but only if the prototype is free to me
I live in Redondo Beach and work in downtown L.A. The 350Z is not my daily driver, so I can afford to be without it for a week or 10 days.

The car did feel a little more responsive, and stiffer over freeway expansion joints on the ride home. I will report more after this weekends track day.
Also wanted to say BIG THANKS to the guys at Autopower for completing this in time for Saturday! You guys are the best!!

The rear "roll bar" portion is welded for safety, there is not enough strong material to bolt onto... the front portion (door bars, a-pillar and windshield bar are bolted in and can be removed for daily driving if needed.
