Default Z Cookout Pics :)

Hey everyone,
I just want to start off by saying THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming!! We had a blast!! I have to give special thanks to TOM JONES and AmyCroft who got there early to help out. AmyCroft was our "traffic controller" and TOM JONES was our "traffic DIRECTOR"... Also, thanks to Luv Mntrl and Paul who also helped and thanks to Jane (JeffA's wife).....I really couldn't have done all this without your help.....And, we cant forget, the wonderful COOKS we had! With out them, we would have starved! Thanks to Sizong (Adam) and LITTLE Sizong (Kevin).. They got along well w/ the OTHER brothers there (Kash and Jash). Every time I turned around, the 4 of them were cracking up. Thanks to everyone who helped and made this event happen. I really do appreciate your help. I couldnt' have done it alone!!!

Grocery bill : $650
Shopping hours : approx 7 hours
# of Z's that showed up : 22 total (I think?)
# of burnt knuckle hairs on the cooks arms : 492 ( )
# of people attending : 30+
Hours spent preparing : 40
Price of a fantastic bbq in the park : PRICELESS

I hope everyone has as much fun as we did! We did have a blast and I got to meet a lot more people. I was able to put names to faces....So thanks for everyone's help..It was a great turnout! We shall do it again sometime!

Wicked4u2c : we didnt receive your payment....We will be sending a request thru paypal. THanks

Here are the pics I took...Sorry there aren't that many of individuals, but I was busy running around like a chicken w/ its head cut off! Enjoy!

NO THANK YOU...You would have thoght we had all been friends for years the way we carry on. You 2 have made our little family of Z owners so much better in just a couple of months since you joined us . We got folks from 1000 oaks, hemet, OC and beond, and as always we make new friends. I think thats the important thing. Cars come and go but friends can last a lifetime. So thanks again and a quote from roy rodgers...happy trails to you until we meet again

Hey TOM JONES,
Kinda wierd how I do feel like part of a family with everyone. And so does Kash..But I just registered to the site in mid January, and my first "meet" was Feb 7 at Nationals Restaurant.....Since then, Ive made some pretty cool friends....But KASH, he doenst come online at all..If he has a comment to make, I make it for him. hehe So I know that he feels more of a bond too...Kinda wierd seeing as how Ive only been on the site for just over 2 mths, and Kash isnt on the site at ALL, but we get everyone to come out and have a good time..... It was lots of fun....Thanks for your help...And youre right about cars come and go...but friends last forever.....I dont even OWN a Z, but I still feel like family. Thanks.
And Adam, thanks for bringing the Korean BBQ. It ROCKED!!

Oh yea, a little side note...I hope everyone got their "gift" before they left...We (well mostly Kash and his bro) spent a LOT of time on them...so we hope that you enjoyed them!
Thanks

Lysa :-D

I expected to make the trailing end of the meet but by the time my canyon run was over, it was about 2:45 p.m. and I knew there was no way I'd make it in time.

But, thanks for sharing the pics, looks like you all had a great meet.

Ya, but, we ate some grub at Neptune's, checked out a plan B spot and by the time we were done with the rest of that, it was about 3:30 p.m. By the time I would have made it to Torrance, it would have been 4:30. Guess I could have made it in time to help clean up.
