Hello again!!



This thread is for one purpose...To gather suggestions (like the group name thread) for a central location for a meet to be held. The first meet would need to be to discuss our group name and cast the vote....

Give suggestions on a central location. I don't know where everyone lives so I dont really have any suggestions (other than Torrance/Carson area hehe). But really, any suggestions will be used.

Also, vote on what day would be better for you....

Yes I requested the moderator to delete it...I have the list of names, but some issues were brought up that anyone, not just so cal folks could vote...Also some people have more than 1 name and could vote 2x...Unfair..SO, we will have a meeting and have people vote at the meeting...That way, it keeps it fair for all of us..

Though I will not be attending personally, I wouldn't mind if you had the "goup name" vote at the Hooters meet this Saturday.

 

That's not a bad idea.....Maybe those who can not attend, could PM BullishZ with thier vote? IF that is ok w/ BullishZ to gather up those votes and have everyone vote at his meet?

Good idea.

I also voted for Saturday evening. Saturday morning might be too early for those who party hard on Friday nights. Sundays...I like just to relax n' sleep all day before going to work on Monday.

 

Yea mornings dont really work for me...Im more of a night person

Yeah thought I was the only one who thought some of you guys are crazy for setting up these meets at 8 or 9am on weekends. Getting up at 7am on a weekend is not fun for me. I like to be able to finally sleep in after 5 days of work. As mentioned, especially when you have to recover from a friday night

How about an option on the poll for saturday or sunday afternoons. For you early birds (weirdos) it'll give you a chance to wash/wax your car!

 

I guess I worded it wrong...No way in HeLL would I get up to attend a meeting (unless Im getting paid double time) on a weekend at 7am...I never posted a time on these options though..haha thats funny...I assumed "morning" to be about 11am or noon...I assumed "evening" to be about 5pm or 6pm.

I dont want to have a meeting at 8pm on a Saturday because some of the party animals will be getting ready to go out.. But I will just make it clear...NO WAY IN HeLL did I want to give the impression that 7am Saturday morning meeting was an option! haah sorry folks...

You know what confused me was the thread title said meet location and then we get meet dates to vote upon.

I vote for a location in the Santa Monica/West LA/Marina Del Rey/Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach area since that's about midway between LA, SFV, OC.

As for meet times, I guess I like Saturday mornings, even after going out Friday nights just because it's the best time for canyon runs. Evenings would be cool if we coordinated with a club or dinner thing. Afternoons, eh it really breaks up the day, not sure it's the best.

But, my question is, do we really want scheduled meet locations or meet times? I'm kind of happy having whomever is setting up the meet to designate times and locations.

 

I was trying to schedule a meet time for everyone to be able to vote on the group names..but I think it will be voted on at Eric's Hooters event....So this post is invalid I think haah

Not Proxes (those are Toyo tires). I mean if I can't make it to the meet, can I tell you how I want to vote, and get my vote counted?
