Hey fellas,

I need to replace my clutch and flywheel. What do you recommend? I am leaning towards the JWT clutch and flywheel combo from www.i-m-racing.com for $812 shipped. Any other recommendations besides the Tilton Full street clutch and the JWT? Thanks.

Hey Jim,

So JWT sounds good or is there something better besides the Tilton? How do I get a hold of Greg at Mossy? BTW...do they have a website like Performance Nissan?

Thanks.

if it were me, i would run the jun chromoly flywheel. same weight and price as the jwt, but it won't make noise, and it will hold up longer.

i am not a fan of the replaceable friction surface on the jwt. i can just see one of the screws coming out and destroying something. just my opinion...but i am right.

Tilton is more or less non-streetable ... even the street version

you can't forget we live in SoCal .. read TRAFFIC JAMS ... not open road montana or something.

I have read that JWT is a very nice upgrade with the noise being the only setback .... I am going for it

i have seen it at sgpracing.com, and they have a roller bearing option for the output shaft for 15 bucks more (instead of a bushing).

unless you are going to add a poop load of horsepower, i would stick with the stock clutch (a new one of course). any other clutch will be a pain to drive, and you will wish you had never done anything in the first place.

what robert has done is elephantish (ie: limited slip rear end, and probably a clutch)

Chad,

The dealership wanted $1400 for the clutch and flywheel. That's why I didn't want them to put that in for me. I want something that will last longer and hold at least a little better than the stock clutch. Any other ideas?
