So apparently theres nothing wrong with my car today. It is no longer overheating. The techs at Nissan checked the thermostat and it is opening fine. They also bled the cooling system and got very little air. Compression test was good. BLock is good. Headgasket is good. So yeah....

This morning I was just hoping they would find SOMETHING wrong with it that could be fixed. Certainly not happy that its now all of a sudden working fine. Now I'm fearful about the t-stat..

 

Simple (not really) solution.

Replace the thermostat, regardless of what they found

 

Unless you'r paying for it..its gone a be a while....

Not sure about the part but replacing it is going to be a b!tch...

 

And the car overheats again...this is like "As the VQ35 turns...."

No. But, I did forget to drop that torque wrench off on my way up. You see, I was running a tad late and I forgot .. plus there was a huge accident on 163S that distracted me and made me forget even more.

Actually, out of Episodes 1-3, the third one was definately the best.
