I hit this monster bump last night on a driveway last night and heard a loud *** thunk! I thought it was the oil pan, but then I looked further back and the heat wrap was ripped on the crossover pipe. I think I killed it, it might be leaking.
Car idles ok, but I think the boost is off a hair. Need to jack it up and take a look.

Damn, just never stops with this car.

The usual entrance where I enter my complex was blocked by a Time Warner van so I took a different driveway. Some bump I never hit when I was NA. A piece of asphalt sticking up from sloppy tar work. Damn HOA!

The crossover pipe does have a flex joint so hopefully its not completely dead. That sucks dude.

Anyone interested in some B&G springs. Buy me dinner next week and they are yours. I would be removing them next weekend so it would be March 6 that you would get them.

Hmmm..I wonder if these will fit an s13. Clue? Taking a shot...haha just might buy you dinner Rob.

Took a look at the crossover pipe, doesn't look cracked but it's hard to tell without removing the heat wrap. Not sure if I have a leak. I boost to 8psi but I noticed my A/F is higher than usual under full boost, ~11.8-11.9, not the previous 11.2-11.4. No pinging though. Leak?

Doubtful but I wouldn't rule it out yet. If you are still making 8 PSI its not a very big leak if there is one.

if you were leaking before the turbo, wouldn't A/F go down?

No because the ehxaut leak also affects the reading the wideband is getting. This is kinda odd since you would think that an exhaust leak would just lower the voume read but for some reason an every exhaust leak I have seen pre-wideband the AFRs look lean.

Chad's logic makes sense but for some reason the wideband seems to be reading a touch lean. Possibly parts of fuel in the A/F mixture are leaking out? Thanks for the input guys.

Chad, you selling your ride? I see a set of HREs going up for sale and a Injen intake, then a 2004 6MT DG. Dibs on the arm rests.

If you want to lower it more, just put 19s on. I'll trade you mine.

I'll buy his 997S for 50k and a bottle of wax for his truck bed shell.
