When you race Rob, just keep a bag of gravel with you. If he starts to pull, dump some out. He'll lift off the throttle like no other...haha

Very funny.... ... ***** out Chad? You mean you are actually going to race with your sack hanging out? I may need to have someone drive my car so I can witness that. Jim, stop talking

well, if you want to stand a chance of winning, you should probably have me drive your car, but i can't drive two cars at once.

2 grand is for the pre-release deposit (or at least that was the impression i got). i would expect to pay another 2 grand, or more, when they come out with it.

i hear you, though. i already know all about them, and the other srt-8 vendors.

i finally floored it tonight, 0-70. it went by pretty quickly (about the same time my G went 0-45). since it is AWD, i think it is going to be hard for many cars on the road to beat this thing to about 45. it just hooks up and goes. it will be interesting to see how the Z builds power as you spool up though, because after i am up to speed the AWD just becomes extra weight. plus, it is a box.

Chad,

You car is SSSSSSthuper cute YAY!!!!!!!

Jeeps on stock tires with good drivers are cutting 1.7x-18.0 60ft times .... you won't find a Z this side of a drag radials better than that.

Thats AWD for you. I have no doubt off the line I'm going to get raped. I don't run nor plan to run Drag radials or slicks on my car anytime in the conceivable future. That combined with the automagic launch is going to equate to me getting my culo handed to me. After 60 ft though it should be a vastly different story. For all the tq that Jeep has nothing on this sideof a turbo is going to help it mid and top end. Not to mention the largish turbo on my car. The spool up time will certainly not help the situation but once its spooled I should pull pretty hard. The Jeep makes what 420 Crank? With AWD drivetrain loss its going to be 380 at the HIGHEST to the wheels. Factor in weight difference and drivetrain drag and the picture after 60 ft is not looking so great. I do look forward to it though. It will be interesting to see how well the Jeeps motor keeps the tq output up at the midrange and higher end. This SHOULD be my place to shine when we run.

It puts down mid-350s stock. Mid-range torque is beautiful on the car. I don't doubt chad having you up till 60mph ... I question whether you'll pass him by 80 or 100mph ... it'll all be in your tires.

Your car is faster no doubt ... F=ma can't go against that law ... but off that line I think this Jeep is gonna *** some cars up.

and thats it ... im out down to SD for the weekend .. give me a call

Well if its in my tires then I'm screwed. My tires are looking drag slicks but without the grip.

from Wikipedia

Muse are an alternative rock band formed in Teignmouth, Devon, England in 1994. The band has three members: Matthew Bellamy (singer, guitarist and keyboardist), Chris Wolstenholme (bassist) and Dominic Howard (drummer and percussionist). Bellamy is the principal songwriter in the band, although some of the band's more recent material has also been credited to Wolstenholme and Howard.

Muse's music has been described as epic, melodic hard progressive rock mixed with European electronica and classical music.[citation needed]

Hey Jim, did you go onto Amazon.co for that info? That's some good back history for the band.

Later,

Ray
