2 grand is for the pre-release deposit (or at least that was the impression i got). i would expect to pay another 2 grand, or more, when they come out with it.
i hear you, though. i already know all about them, and the other srt-8 vendors.

i finally floored it tonight, 0-70. it went by pretty quickly (about the same time my G went 0-45). since it is AWD, i think it is going to be hard for many cars on the road to beat this thing to about 45. it just hooks up and goes. it will be interesting to see how the Z builds power as you spool up though, because after i am up to speed the AWD just becomes extra weight. plus, it is a box.

It puts down mid-350s stock. Mid-range torque is beautiful on the car. I don't doubt chad having you up till 60mph ... I question whether you'll pass him by 80 or 100mph ... it'll all be in your tires.
Your car is faster no doubt ... F=ma can't go against that law ... but off that line I think this Jeep is gonna *** some cars up.
and thats it ... im out down to SD for the weekend .. give me a call

from Wikipedia
Muse are an alternative rock band formed in Teignmouth, Devon, England in 1994. The band has three members: Matthew Bellamy (singer, guitarist and keyboardist), Chris Wolstenholme (bassist) and Dominic Howard (drummer and percussionist). Bellamy is the principal songwriter in the band, although some of the band's more recent material has also been credited to Wolstenholme and Howard.
Muse's music has been described as epic, melodic hard progressive rock mixed with European electronica and classical music.[citation needed]
