I live in Alpine, but I'm way down. Let me know when you guys wanna do the drive. Also, to anyone else that is interested. I have found several very good mountain roads out in east county area. Plus, Julian is always a good run. Let me know if anyone wants to do one of these drives!

OK guys. We have about 6 confirmed so far going this Saturday. Meet spot for us is at the 15 & 76 gas station at 8am.
We'll be going up the mountain and up to Julian.
For us southerners, meet spot is a Peet's Coffee in Ranch Penasquitos at 7am. Just look for Andy's GTR.
Sorry for the short fused notice.

A really good drive that I do by myself sometimes, (because I just got back into town from NJ) is to go from Rancho San Diego, and take Lyons Valley road, all the way up to Julian. Most of the drive there is open hills with VERY little traffic. It's kind of a long drive too. I think that the whole drive is somewhere around 50 miles of all back country roads and hills. There are a couple of good straight aways too if anyone wants to get their car to high speeds!

We'll be meeting up at Peet's at 7 and cruise up to the meet point at the 15 & 76 gas station at 7:30. Leaving for the mountain at 8 sharp.
Going up the mountain, through the desert, up more twisties to Julian for some breakfast and pie.

Palomar run this Saturday bump.
It's gonna be a fun day.
For anyone that hasn't been on one, we should be done by noon so you still have time to do what you have to do.
Let's do it!
