Sounds like a plan. The meet that we had last weekend was pretty unorganized, and we got off to a late start (partially my fault, I took my car through a car wash and sucked up too much water with my CAI and I had to reset the car). Two of us that were in the front got tickets. We were driving pretty fast, came over a hill, and saw the cop and pulled over. Hopefully we wont see as many as we did this last saturday. I did the counting, and I think we saw 12 or 13 cops over our whole run . Spread the word though, it would be great to make this a big thing!

Oh Wow thats sucks I guess i'll have to cruise at middle of the pack so i dont have any trouble lol. I'm not very familiar with palomar mtn. are there always that many cops? I usually stick with the canyons around Otay lakes since its closer to me i've never had any trouble out there. I'll try to get my buddies to come but they are pretty lame when it comes to really long cruises.

Yep, rarely see cops at all on the mountain unless you leave later in the morning. Our runs usually start early to avoid cops and always to a drivers meeting before hand to ensure safety. We had a run not too long ago and had a blast. Videos on my YouTube page.
I usually go up every other week early in the morning. That's the best time to go.
If you want to get a thrill, do Palomar mtn AND Mesa Grande rd. Most runs don't normally include MG rd.

when we do palomar we do prefer to go early. if you do go later in the morning, there is more traffic and more likely hoods that you will run into the CHP. CHP won't normally mess with you though, they are there mostly to help with accidents unless you go flying by at 100+ then, they will get you
