Dropping 100 lbs of weight off the chassis is [roughly] equivalent to gaining what amount of wheel hp?

tough call, but typically they say that for every 100 pounds you get rid of, you are a tenth of a second faster in the quarter mile. unsprung weight is better, though.

Hmm...I guess a tenth of a second is pretty significant. I definately lose a lot of "butt-dyno grunt" with a passenger on board; isn't roughly 10-15 crank hp enough to drop a tenth off the 1/4?

BTW....does anyone have any suggestions for the most significant performance N/A mod aside from the Plenum?? [/B]
For you, i would recommend an extensive set of tools, floor jack and jack stands. If you're gonna be a modder, you should learn how to work on your car. jmo.

True true my friend....although Jim does it for eggrolls, can't beat that!

Anyhoo.....I'm gonna be doing some 0-60 runs once I buy the Gtech from Socks; does anyone have any suggestions for short run off areas where there are minimal people/cars/COPS ????

Damn, one of the bolts on my wheel snapped. Part of the screw is still stuck in the rotor. Where should I go to get it fixed?

Any shop that does brakes can replace the stud for you. Hopefully, they know how to work with BBK's. You should be able to do it yourself if you replaced the rotors on your Z. I know Napa in Mira Mesa carries a variety of replacement studs. If not, you can try the Napa warehouse or Mossy in Poway.

Maximum Boost Rocks...I have now calculated CFM and lbs/min for our motor at engine speeds from 1000 RPMs to redline in 500 RPM increments. I also got the PSI amounts for the Turbonetics turbo for engine speeds from 2000 RPM to redline in 500 RPM increments and then converted them to Pressure Ratios. And tomorrow I will bring the closest compressor map of the 60-1 Stage V turbo I have and me an Chad will see how efficient that is. Then I'm gonna do the same for each of the other turbos from all the other manufacturers. Then I'm going to cure Cancer..
