Yeah I think it was the every Monday TGIF Yorba Linda meet. It is going on every Monday with the Subaru guys..

huh... are you guys talking about Initial D? If so this the best series ever. I saw the whole series already via a Japanese version with subtitle. Waiting for 4th Stage Project D. wait wait wait..

I already saw the first 2 episodes of Stage 4. Same old thing except he's racing as a member of Project D. Next 2 episodes should be in June.

Stage 4 Project D. Out in Japan pay-per-view. 2 episodes every 2 months. Stage 4 won't be fully completed until 2005.

First race is against a Mazda Roadster (turbocharged miata). Kind of like the akina gutter race but this has a ditch instead of a gutter.

 

Yeah just saw the first 2 episodes of the 4th Stage. Found it via Bit Torrent. CGI has improve and character looks more like Stage 2. I still need some subtitle as I have no idea what they are saying in Japanese.. Also from the intro Bunta now has a WRX

 

mtv might actually be picking up the series soon

 

If it does, it will have the Tokyopop trademark bastardization I'm sure.
