June 13: Idyllwild Run
#21
Thanks Manny for replying! I've been there only once so I really appreciate your participating in this thread!
Dave... thanx for offering! Could you post up your address for everyone? We will meet at your place at 7am. If you feel uncomfortable posting your address on the web, PM it to me and I'll have everyone PM me their e-mail addresses. So that it wil stay somewhat less public. Let us know.

I will have coffee and donuts ready, take a few minutes to have a few then head out either the Banning side (not familiar) or down Florida St. to the Mtn. I will follow. Does anyone have the walkie-talkies for the lead car ???? I have a set, and will bring one to tune in the lead car channel for any intel they have for us. I am usually up around 5AM so any early birds is cool with me, we can sit by the pool and drink some coffee.

I will post a separate caravan thread when the time is near. I think we should leave South Bay around 5:30am. Even if we don't get that many people to come with us, that's aight... they'll just have to miss out on the greatest run ever!
Dave:
Thanks for hosting the meet!

Hemet
Thanks again Dave.
Sho, if you leave S.B. by 5:30 and me at 91 and 605 FWYs around 5:45 we should make it to Hemet in good time.
Ed, Sho will post the details for the caravan, but you can get an idea by now.
Looking forward to the run.
Brian, it will be good to run with you again. I still like the Mesa Grande run best.
Manny.

Like Manny said, we should be leaving Gardena (Chevron Gas Station on the corner of Artesia/Western) at about 5:30am. Merging with Manny at about 5:45am on 91 @ 605. Get to Dave's by 6:30am. Start the run at about 6:45~7am. I will be posting another thread about it later on... Can't wait for this run!

10 (e) off at 79 in Beaumont (1 exit passed the end of the 60 fwy), turn right, travel about 5 miles through the canyon and you will come down the grade in to the Hemet Valley. Stay on 79 (turns in to Sanderson). 4th stop light (Menlo) go right, 1st left (Seattle), 4th left (Louisville), 1st right (Sydney), left on Memphis. End of the street, left side, covered lowered chevy dually + DB 350Z in driveway.
Early birds welcome for coffee/donuts, I will be up aroung 530AM
Looking Forward,
Dave

I would come down the 60 fwy, take the Hemet San Jacinto exit,
(2 exits passed Moreno Beach Blvd). follow that for about 8 miles and you will hit 79, turn right on to 79 prior to the overpass. then follw the first directions given. When you merge on 79, that is the point after coming down the grade (in 1st directions) If you need further directions 909-765-1509, call me in the evening.
