Was looking at picking up about 2 dozen donuts to have with the coffee by the pool prior to our run. Any special request for a morning beverage or specific donut ???
Thanks, Dave

Borla and Nismo kit (self installing) ... eek
I am very interested in this run ... looks to be an eighty mile trek from SD
V1 calulates that to be only about one hour away
I won't know until Saturday night ... but put me down as tentative please
Hopefully I can make it

Who Wants My Speeding Warning Ticket?
Had a great time! Thanks everyone! Glad our member with the spinout is A-OK (and his passenger). I got a nice close view of the whole thing since I was directly behind him...they ended up facing me once it stopped spinning around, and the passenger happened to of had the video cam on during this unexpected sidetrip Hopefully they can post it...
Thanks to Dave for hosting us at his house and leading us to Idyllwild as none of us were very sure how to get there. Thanks to zman23 for taking over my lead during part of the drive so I could rest up a bit...hard work being out front trying to stay out of your way!
Sho-Time, zman23, and I reversed direction after most of you took the freeway home...you all missed another spirited run! We ended up going back to the 74 near Idyllwild and then taking 74 out to Palm Desert...some awesome scenery and some good driving when we could get around the traffic...and rather hot.
Coppers Nab Us:
As we crested a hill going at a good clip...I'm the 3rd car of 3 with zman23 up front, my radar goes bonkers, I yell out on the radio we got radar...but it was too late. Copper in a SUV coming from opposite direction a long way off does a U-turn and waits for us to reach him where he pulls us all over. It must have been our lucky day though...he was impressed with our cars, how nice we were, he liked my cordless radar detector and how fast we attempted to slow down the instance it went off, and who knows what else...and let us off with just a warning...he could of got us for no front license plates, window tinting, driving above the speed limit, etc. Truly a nice copper

What a run!!!!!!!
You guys that couldn't come, missed a great run!!! We only had on miss hap but other than that it was great! After the rest of you left, Bryan, Sho and I headed back and then took the back side of Rt79 to Palm Desert. We kinda had to "go slow" but was a great run to the desert.
Once again, after we left Idylwild, I took Ortega hwy home and no cars on the way back!!! I couldn't believe it, that is always packed with cars at noon.
Anyway, hope we can do this again with more of you guys and gals to come next time.
Dave, thanks for feeding us and opening your home to us! Sho thanks for setting this up, Manny, Tom you missed a good one!!
