well i know that i'm going to get some bad press from this one(people are still waiting for theirs that they ordered in jan) but i put my deposit for a car down on 9/30/02 and the salesman dav that i worked with gave me a call on the 4th of october to tell me that they had a performance CS with all the fixings that i ordered there and it was mine if i wanted it.( a guy cancelled his preorder and i was next on the list for the that package) so i go in on tuesday to pick it up. All at msrp!! no tricks!! one week for my car from the time that i ordered it (or put the deposit down for a car) they are really great there and i can't say you will get the same deal but it never hurts to talk to them about it. I KNOW that i am so very lucky and count my lucky stars everynight. hopefully i won't be alone.

Sounds great though I'm gonna feel like a dork pulling up in my

Count me in, I should be back from The Bay Area Meet, A.K.A. Tako's Party by then. Just taking some relaxation time out, but plan on being back by then.. Is that gonna be early enough to get some decent pictures of some cars??
Hopefully I can make it out to a future meeting...

I don't know about some of the other guys in the area, but weeknights are no good... and Buena Park ain't exactly a quick drive from Santa Monica. I'd love to join you guys if you're gonna be meeting on the weekend though. (Still driving my Z32... waiting until FI or at least some more mods from Nismo to get the 350Z... that and an extra $30K)

Yeah, If the lighting is okay by then..
By the time all the people get out there it will be too dark to try to get any decent pictures of some cars & colors, but I will do the best that I can..
