Default Zaino - Worth all the hype?

What's up people?

I have the fun of dealing with the "Super Black Swirls".

I want to know if any of you use the Zaino products, and if you do is it worthy of all the hype, and the price?

Also, is there a better and cheaper place to get it than on www.zainobros.com?

*Would love to hear from some of my 3fivezeroz bros......get an honest opinion*

Thanks
Chris

Hey Crhis,

I spent over $300 on Zaino and peripherals. Not worth it in my opinion at all. When Zaino dries it gets real staticy (sp) and attracts brake dust like a magnet. I switched to Mother's 100% Carnuba and Maguire's Instant Wax for in-betweens.

On Black, I've heard that Crystal Guard has by far the best shine.

For the swirls, you need to use a swirl remover first, before waxing. Maguires' got one and so does Mother's I believe. Also to avoid swirls in the first place, I'd recommend getting 100% cotton hand towels ($5/20 at K-mart) for taking off the wax and for drying, and I also recommend investing in a leaf blower for drying.

I still got some Zaino left if you want to try it.

Meguires NXT is better. One wax to apply and you are done.

With Zaino Bros you gotta have multiple waxes and buy the ZFX additive if you want to finish the job on the same day.

I use it on my car and I have no complaints whatsoever. Once you have properly prepped your paint (which you will need to do with any wax/polish you use) it actually takes less time to apply and remove Zaino than most other products.

As far as the cost, the bottles may be more expensive, but you are supposed to apply it in VERY thin layers. One little bottle can last a very long time. You dont need to apply multiple layers, but it sure does look nice when you do.

That being said, the NXT is a very nice product as well. Jon's car always looks awesome! You won't go wrong with either product.
