These clinics are very relaxed and not intimidating for first-timers. Buttonwillow is one of the best tracks in the country for learning/teaching, as it has a great variety of turns and almost nothing to hit. Expert instruction is available every session from licensed racers, not just some guy with one or two more events under his belt than you. For track-day veterans, expect lots of track time.
For those joining us on Sunday, be sure to come up early on Saturday and check out the Cal Club 6-Hour Enduro at Buttonwillow from 5-11 pm. Nothing quite like watching sports cars racing at night!
Hope to see you there!

I have run the Buttonwillow Performance Driving Clinic twice in the past year, and I recommend it highly. It is a little more expensive than many other track events, but is worth it for the excellent driving instruction and good organization.
This is a perfect event for racetrack newbies. You will get lots of one-on-one instruction on the track, & some very educational classroom info.
Last May they did something I really enjoyed, We got to "walk" a part of the track with an instructor, and he explained in detail how to take the turn, where to brake and apex, etc, while you are standing there looking at the exact spot on the track he is talking about. Go for it!!!
