What do you have in the car. Something may be messed up since those rear speakers fire right into the seat and even with mine amped they don't make a big difference.

You won't have "surround sound" without a 5.1 decoder and center channel. With 2.1 (2 channel and sub) you should try and create the sounds stage in front of you. It should sound like the music is coming from the center of the windshield a few feet in front. If you can hear the rear speaker only something is wrong.

If it's an Alpine with Time Correction/Bass Focus I probably can help.

He might kill me for saying this, but Eric at Street Image is really good at this stuff. Although he is too humble to admit it, when he did my Profec Installation, he every so carefully and neatly re-wired the rat's nest the Al and Ed's Autosound left when they installed my stereo. After Eric and his magical little hands were done...it was so clean and organized back there.

Honestly, I dont think Eric does stereo installations, but if need something fixed, I'd give him a call....just to see.

I think he might kill you for this GQ. But got to agree with you that Eric is very meticulous and cleaned up your wiring. Eric is more of a performance motor guy but give him a call he might be able to take a look for you.

Why would they give you non-component fronts? I'd go back and make them take the speakers out and give you some component fronts. Sounds like you may not have gone to the right place. I'm not even recognizing the names you listed

Creative Audio in Santa Fe Springs is awesome. He's in the 562, but he's done a ton of Z's. Mainly does show cars. I got two JL 10s embedded in my trunk. He knows acoustics of the car too. PM me for pictures. Ask for Ryan

DO NOT go to Nick's Audio. I think he's in the 626.
