Universal had what I wanted at 2k over MSRP back in 9/03 for an SS ZR.

Yeah I cold have saved a few dimes if I'd waited.

But I didn't want to wait.

Just go in there with your eyes open, know what to expect and try negotiate your best deal.

Remember...they can't force you to sign the contract. That's all on you.

Got mine from Glendale and I think I got a pretty good deal. It's all about the pain of negotiation. Don't believe a word the salespeople tell you.

Everyone is right! Univ Nissan really sucks and so does there service. I got my car there and under MSRP BUT you dont even know what i had to go through!!! I bought a Black Touring (exactly what i was looking for) late in the the evening, signed the papers and when i got out and saw it under one of there Street lights there were deep scratches and dings all over the poor thing. I call out the Sales manager and said HELLS NO!!! And told them i don't want it anymore! This is B.S. and voided the deal. Then he said hold on, let me see if i can get another one. then he tells me he has a fresh one still sitting on the ship in Long Beach waiting to be unloaded but I had to wait due to the fact that the port was backed up. Well a couple days passed and they said it had finally arrived. when i went to check it out It had one scratch on it and and i happened to look under the seat and found an invoice from Glendale!!! I told those ***** f'ers what the hell are you guys trying to pull?!?!? The sales manager looked at me and said we'll fix the scratch and offered it to me alittle under 1k off MSRP, snickered, and walked away. Well bottom line, i bought it. I would not suggest you do the same. My 2 cents...

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! When i was in the market for my Z, they were trying to get $55k for one! Trying to tell me that people were paying it and i wasn't gonna find one cheaper.

DO NOT GO TO UNIVERSAL CITY NISSAN. Horrible sales rep, basically got blew off when i wanted to check out a 350ZR. I have never ever been treated so badly by a salesmen before. He gave me SO much bull crap about availablity and how the car needs a 6k mark up lol. They won't even do dealer trades for you and if they think you can't afford the car they blow you off like it was a Ferrari dealer.

I ended up getting mine at Superior Nissan... got a really good deal on it but i would say the service is so so there also... so performance nissan should be your best bet.

Follow up on this sh*t. I had to buy my Z here, (the only fully loaded black track left). They tried to sell me an identical car that had scratches ALL OVER IT! They are such BS there, it took 8 hours to buy the car (THE RIGHT CAR cuz I had the VIN). In the end I got $36,500 OTD, MSRP was $37,610. UN sucks. Avoid if at all possible.
