Yeah, it would've been nice to have you in your Z. How'd the Lexus handle? How long did they say your car would take to be repaired?

Hope everything works out. Hope there wasn't any frame damage.

MARCO's in San Gabriel is highly recommended.

I was at the shop Wednesday, signed some papers. The insurance adjustor was already there that morning. They had the bumper pulled off and the frame was bent into the trunk area. So, new parts and labor, I hope to get a call today confirming, but it looks to be about 2-3 weeks.

The ride up in the Lexus was cool. Since I had Amy Croft as my passenger, and being the mature driver that he is I was going extra careful up the twisties. Oh, and not nearly having as much power as the Z helped make it a slow go up the mountain. lol

Still glad I was along for the ride. Great to see all the Z's out for a fun day.

Hmm, unless the cf hatch was already on the car, I don't think insurance would replace...

Hey ZtoZ, if you are interested in paint, check out this website www.TMSDesignWerks.com. It might give you some unique ideas for a new paint job. They supply all sorts of custom paints (aka candy and chameleon). The price is affordable but you shouldnt worry about that since you aren't paying for it. Contact them thru the website and maybe the body shop can buy from them or PM me if you would like more info.

Kash
Kash, Thanks for the info. I'm almost sure insurance won't pay for a whole car paint job. Some of the guys suggested a "pink" color, but since I don't sell Mary Kay Cosmetics I'm cool with the Silverstone.

if the hatch needs to be replaced, you can go for it.
