Do you have the part already or you need the part and installation send me a PM or IM look under my sig and you can find out my SN for Aim. I work @ Streetimage and we have a good rep on the 350z and g35 forums. We are located in Baldwin Park, S.cali so let me know.

Talk to Ray or Saji, they are the best and do this all day everyday for ~$250 They did both my LSD and 3.9 Final Drive.
If you haven't bought the LSD yet, then you may want to consider the KAAZ unit over the Nismo, it is much stronger (more discs) and has better response... for ~ same price.

only issue with the kaaz is that you will need to get some axels from an enthusiast and above. The Base model does not have the correct axels to fit into a LSD.
The nice thing about teh nismo lsd is that it has the necessary hardware.

The nismo will come with all the necessary parts to install for the base model. The other brands will not come with axle stubs, etc etc. Technosquare also has experience with installing the lsd on a 350z/g35.

what are the main advantages with the Kaaz vs. Nismo ?
The GT L.S.D. seems to do the job for most applications.
I'm also in the market for an LSD and would like to know as well.
200+ seems pretty steep to install an LSD.
LSD for my old Silvia was only 4 main bolts and the 6 axle bolts on each side, fairly easy to install.
how complicated would the z33 be ?

The install is the same as a Sylvia, but what you mention is only swapping complete differential housings... when you purchase an aftermarket LSD you get the differential only, which needs to be installed into your original housing.
This requires removing the housing, disassembly of the stock unit (ring gear has to come off), installation of aftermarket unit (shim, correct backlash, etc..) then complete differential can go back in car, fill w/fluid, break in, drain and refill fluid.
This takes much more time and if you check around most shops charge a lot more, and don't do the break in for you.

I have driven Z's with both Kaaz and Nismo LSD's and the first thing you feel is that the Nismo has a delayed reaction... this can be adjusted by upping the response adjustment, but even the highest setting lags compared to the Kaaz.
The Kaaz also uses more clutch plates, which should make it stronger, and should last longer before rebuilds.

are these both 1.5 way or 2 way lsd ?
I do not plan to track the car more then a few times a year so I would guess the Nismo would be the best application for a daily driven setup?

Both Kaaz and Nismo can be configured as 1.5 way or 2 way. This is done before installation by reversing the placement of the cam bolt. Very easy.
Most street driven cars will go with the 1.5 way and around 60-80% lock to reduce the harshness. I run 2 way full lock and love it, I drive the car on the street everyday, but it does take some gettting used to... once you're used to it you can't go back

I would not suggest installing a LSD unless you know what you're doing. I actually only trust highly qualified people to do cuz of the dangers that can happen if installed even slightly incorrectly.

Does anyone have any DIY or Z33 differential pictures? I wonder how accessible is this?
