**Dec 4th: Arrowhead Pond - Toys for Tots Car Show
It's official... the Mighty Ducks and Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim have officially agreed to support Team Transport & the USMC's Toys for Tots run on Sat Dec 4th.
Team Transport invites you to help the USMC bring joy to needy children all over the U.S. A new unwrapped toy (worth $10 or more) is all you need to attend this car show. Awards will be given for best of show (multiple categories) as well as vendor/sponsor awards and a special Team Spirit Award for the team that brings in the most toys / or monetary donations (USMC will be on hand to accept all money and toys).
Because this event is open to the SoCal import scene, registration can be found on the Team Transport website
Event Details:
7am - Roll-in / clean up
8am - Open to the public
8 to 11 - Judging
noon - Final words from USMC and awards
More information and award categories to be posted as vendors/sponsors confirm attendance.
Cheers, Ted
(oh ya, this is just down the street from Hooters! - and there is a noon GTG effort underway for that in one of these threads)

A special thank you to our sponsors: The Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, Hooters of Anaheim, Euro Optix, Performance Nissan of Duarte, Street Image, Sound Advice, Stillen / Steve Millen Sportparts, Speed Alliance, StrictlyZ.com and countless caring individuals who will make this event a huge success.
Registration is even easier now... just email your contact information and vehicle profile to: transportshow@hotmail.com.
A confirmation and judging sheet will be sent to you via email.
Also, Hooters is now participating and will be sending some girls on over to the event. They are putting together some specials for the Toys for Tots participants that head over there for the GTG after the show.
Cheers, Ted

When it comes to a bunch of G/Z folks getting together, a GTG is the same thing as a "show".
It's just a good time for all with a few cars that stand above the rest.
Come on out and "show".

My Z is not a show car.... (despite my handle). If that's acceptable, I'll show up too. I'm going to the Hooters meet anyway.

We are now at over 75 vehicles!
Location and Map
The Pond is located off of the 57 freeway at Katella in Anaheim (right across from Angel's Stadium)
It looks like this:

Our event will be located in the front lot (as shown in the pix above). It is also referred to as Main Lot 1:

Below is the layout we will use for the show.
The Marines and Registration will be located in Row 1, Section 2. Look for the Team Transport canopy.
Vendors will be located in Row 1, Section 1 and 3
Pre-registered Teams and Groups will be parked in Section 1 and 2
Vintage vehicles (preregistered) will be parked in Row 2 & 3 of Section 2
Large Teams, Large vehicles, or groups with large displays will be parked in Section 3
Late comers will be parked in section 3's outer (east) side.

There will be no parking along Katella for safety and quick exit
This is a cozy show... there are no bad spots! Even if you are not showing, but have a kindred vehicle, you may park in the show area. However, you will not be judged without a scoring sheet on your windshield.
