No, the S-tune setup is a mild drop setup.

Drop specs are published in the Nismo catalog

Nismo S-tune shock and spring setup 350Z (twin tube, fixed height)
.6"/.6" drop (as shown on page 10 http://www.nissanusa.com/pdf/microsi...ar_catalog.pdf )
Spring rates 393*-448/254*-504
*estimated initial spring rates (notice the front doesn’t have much spread)

1.1"/1.1" G35 coupe
1.6"/1.6" G35 sedan

You cannot run the springs on any oem shock.

Your best best unless you already have D-specs or Koni's is to also buy the shocks too.

Really?? Because the oem struts are made by tokico.

Oem shocks are made by Tokico. They have the valving to cover oem spring stiffness. But NOT S-tune spring stiffness.

Even D-specs are technically not supposed to be run with that much rear spring stiffness according to Tokico. BUT, IIRC when John Coffee aka BetaMotorsports ran his D-specs on the dyno, he felt they could deal with them, I'm gonna go with that over Tokico's own engineer's advise (Ray).
