Default Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilovers

Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilovers
Mileage - 3-4k miles
I've had them for about 8 months
Location - Richmond, VA

Parting the Z out to buy a new car, so these have to go. Nothing wrong with them what so ever. Just took them off yesterday so they're pretty dirty.

MSRP - $1099
Price - $850 obo + shipping

From Fortune Auto website

-Digressive Mono-tube 57mm piston
-Dyno tested*
-IP synthetic 5w or 10w shock oil (prevents cavitation and promotes superior heat dissipation)
-Stainless steel body / piston
-30-way adjustable dampers
-Spherical Bearings
-Dust boots on all pistons
-Oversized digressive 57mm piston housing
-Anodized aluminum camber plates* on front upper-mounts
-1 year Manufacturer's Warranty
-Height adjustment independent of pre-load
-Rebound Adjustable

I just paid Fortune Auto to Dyno/inspect my shocks to confirm everything is in proper working order and they passed with flying colors.

Awfully close to the price of new for used parts with no warranty.

I'm going to have everything set to factory settings from Fortune and Dyno-tested as well and I'll post them on here.

How are you reaching that conclusion?

I don't see any bunching of the coils on the springs towards the upper and lower seats. Looks like low to min preload to me.

I think what you are seeing are the full height adjustments set as low as possible.

Unless their doing all that for free I dont' see the point. If a person can't turn a wrench to set the height and reset the preload if they feel like it they shouldn't be buying a suspension. Honestly, having the right price and good communication would be far more important.

Shock dyno's for the setup can be seen here

Correct, preload is what it is supposed to be and wasn't tampered with

I agree completely, but I figured if some people were skeptical I could give them confirmation even though it's not necessarily needed. Thanks for the link!
