Default HKS Hipermax 3 Sport Coilovers

Hi guys,

I have a set of HKS Hipermax 3 Sport Coilovers with about 5k miles on them for sale. I used them for one summer, then sold the car and they sat in my garage for a few weeks. I'm making some room and trying to sell them.

These coilovers transformed the car when I installed them and made the car transition much quicker and smoother, and also absorbed bumps in the road very well for having stiff springs.

They have no leaks, all the reticulating joins move smoothly. There is some surface dirt/rust on the dampers, but nothing that'll stop them from performing great.

I'm looking to get 1150OBO+ Shipping, located in NJ. Local pick up is also available.

Are these the ones that are OEM in the rear? and have the dampener setting on the bottom of the rear strut?

Yes, correct.

OEM style rear, and dampener adjust from the bottom of the rear strut.

You're looking at dirt. I can get my original invoice from intense from when I originally purchased them and wash the dirt off the coilovers. Any rust that is on the coilover is surface rust. These coilovers are coated and don't rust past the surface.

Unless you're purchasing or have legitimate questions please refrain from leaving a post on my ad.

As for potential buyers, let my sale history and post count be an indicator of my accuracy if posting. Also locals are more than welcome to look at the coilovers in the flesh.

I've run them for 5k miles and have sat in my garage for a few months. What you're seeing is surface rust and dirt.

If all that is is surface rust and dirt, I'm wondering why you havent bothered to take 30 minutes to clean them and update your sale picture.

It is bad form to sell dirty products. If these appeared clean, I could see the value in paying your asking price.

I will when I'm back home. I'm away on work for a week. It's not really about lazy. It's a coilover. The moving portions of the gas shock are protected and the pillowball is perfect. Not sure why a clean shock makes a difference.

Also once again, if you have a legitimate question please post. Otherwise don't post on my thread.
