Default Z1 Motorsports: 350Z / G35 Front Upper Control Arms

Z1 Motorsports 350Z / G35 Front Upper Camber Arms

Z1 Motorsports Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms for Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35.

After over a year in development and testing Z1 is proud to announce our new Z1 Motorsports Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms for Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 models. We took on this challenge with a goal to produce the highest quality arms possible while maintaining competitive pricing and outstanding performance.

Inspected, assembled, re-inspected and packaged in house by Z1's trained staff, the front upper control arms arrive ready to install on your Z right out of the box. A professional alignment is strongly recommended after the installation of the arms.

With arms made of aircraft-grade 4130 chrome-moly hardened alloy steel, they are strong enough to take any track abuse you can throw at them, while maintaining good ride quality and solid performance. They feature a durable powder coated black and silver veined finish which is attractive for show cars, and chemical resistant. all hardware is custom CNC machined with Black Hard Anodize and Bright Zinc finishes.

Control arms are 100% re-build-able and use sturdy heim joint ball joints for maximum durability and performance. These ball joints are inexpensive and available for less than the OEM replacements.

Z1 Motorsports Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms feature an offset ball joint location in order to deliver an optimal caster increase. Increasing the amount of positive caster will increase steering effort and straight line tracking, as well as improve high speed stability and cornering effectiveness. Positive caster also increases camber when cornering as the steering angle is increased to keep your Z planted through hard corners.

**In addition to a slight increase in caster, they have an adjustable arm length to provide additional camber adjustment for stance or tracking for the serious motoring enthusiast.

Street versions feature Energy Suspension Urethane Comfort Bushings for minimum flex, and maximum ride comfort. They are fully re-build-able and will soon be available for purchase separately through Z1 Motorsports. They are also fully serviceable with included grease fittings for long product life and minimal noise.

Race versions feature heim joints with solid race bushings to minimize flex and maximize performance. As a result, increased vibrations and noise may be noted. Z1 recommends using our Street Version if this is a concern.

Due to their modular design, Z1 Motorsports Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms can be interchanged from Urethane to Solid Race components within an hour and can be purchased separately. This reduces the need to purchase multiple Upper Control Arms, greatly reducing expenses, leaving you with more money in your pocket!

For more information please take a look at our detailed
Instruction Manual.

These Front Upper Control Arms fit the following models:

* '03 - '09 350Z
* '03 - '07 G35 Coupe
* '03 - '06 G35 Sedan

Very interested. Any chance you can fix the link to the instruction manual so that it doesn't just take you to the Z1 homepage? I'd love to review it.

How do these compare to the Kinetix UCAs? They look very similar. Biggest problem with my Kinetix arms is the constant squeaks even after tons of lube.

The Kinetix UCA's heim joint is protected by a dust bootie. Yours look exposed. See any issue with running an exposed heim joint on the street?

Many of us at Z1 have ran the Kinetix arms at some point and we have not heard of a squeak or any noise from them nor have we had complaints from our customers.

How low are you? .25+ is the most you can do, due to the ball joint being to close to the chassis. You would never want .25+ or any positive for that matter because the car would handle horribly. The ideal setup for daily driving is -1.7 to -2.5. If you are -3 then this will work for you.

The SPL arms will adjust way more than that. And they have the shims. So for the track I can do my -3 and for the street I can bring it back to keep tires alive a little longer

This is all by theory though. Compared to the write up a I have read and their site
