I am the 2nd owner of the car. It is still under factory warranty until 9/2013 or 60k miles. I am an ex Honda technician and have meticulously maintained the car since day one of ownership. Before me, the gentlemen I purchased it from had it serviced at Nissan. I do not currently drive the car as I have purchased another as my daily driver.
Since owning it, I have changed all the fluids (engine, transmission, and differential) out with full synthetic AMSOil. I have also replaced the air filters with K&N units, put new tires (Sumitomo HTRZ-III in factory sizes) on the car less than 10k miles ago, and had a certified GT-R technician at Clear Lake Nissan do the alignment. These cars often have feathering issues on the tires, but the alignment done to this car prevents the tires from wearing prematurely.
I searched for two months before purchasing this car. I bought it from a man in Dallas who, as I mentioned, meticulously maintained the car at the Nissan dealer. I knew I had to set a checklist the new car must meet. It had to be a 2008 (the last year the 350Z was made), had to be a single owner and be sold by an individual, had to be 100% factory stock, had to be San Marino blue, had to be accident/wreck free, and had to have all the service records. Keep these in mind in your search for a clean example of a 350Z.
I have all the service records, receipts, and a CarFax run in a folder for the potential new owner to keep.
You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of a 350Z than this one.
