Just wanted to see if any of you locals were into real estate investing. My gf and I are interested in getting into the market and needed some guidance/advice on how to get started.

1. study the market for about a year before buying ANY Real Estate

2. look at the values of property in different areas.

3. decide what form of investments you are looking for: Capital improvements or Rental income

4. Never borrow to invest
